Our Currency Exchange department has been open since February 2014. We offer a no commission, fast service with great exchange rates. We can, on demand and from our Alfaz office, change your foreign currency to Euros. We are also able to exchange from Euros to most other currencies with 24 hours notice. Please do check our website for the current days rate or telephone us for an update.
Since July 2013 it is now a legal requirement of the Owner to present an Energy Certificate on their property if they wish to sell. This is also a requirement for Owners who wish to rent their property on a long term basis or for holiday property, if the house is let for 16 weeks or more each year.
We will organize an Architect to visit your property without delay and once the Certificate is prepared, we will ensure it is registered with the Generalitat.
Always available for rental items, we have a stock of childrens equipment including cot, high chairs, pushchairs. In addition wheelchairs and mobility equipment can be hired by the day or week or for longer periods. We also have a good stock of inflatable beds for the occasional visitors as well as bicycles, mopeds or quad bikes.

We will be very pleased to assist you with translation of documentation. We can offer you the service of written translation from English to Spanish or vice versa. If you need a letter preparing, or just reading, please do let us know. We are also able to translate from other languages, not just English.

National Identification Number for Foreigners. This form of identification is very important for you to obtain, once you have decided to reside here in Spain. You are unable to purchase a motor vehicle, property and often open a bank account without it. The process is easy once you know how and we will be happy to show you.
Once you have obtained your NIE you may wish to apply for your Residencia for Medical purposes, school enrollment etc. As before, we can show you how.
Signing the “pardon” is very important both for you and the town you live in. You should register yourself as living at your home with the Town Hall for that district. It is also important as the Town Hall will receive payment from the Spanish government for each resident they have registered. This money is essential for the towns upkeep and maintenance, schools, amenities, sports facilities and the future development of the town.
Don’t leave it to the last minute to renew your passport and remember that many airlines will require you to have at least 6 months left on your passport to make it valid. We will assist you with your renewal application and send it to the British Consulate in Madrid who will offer you a speedy service.
Are you having problems with SUMA, not receiving your bills or trouble making payments? Maybe your bills are incorrect or need amending. Our cleaning staff who are responsible for the regular cleaning of our managed properties, can also undertake any size of job from domestic properties to offices and community services. We have a general maintenance team who are always on hand for those small repairs that often crop up. We can also arrange servicing of gas boilers and obtaining the obligatory safety certificates. Air conditioning - Can we assist you with the installation of your air conditioning system or indeed regular maintenance, filter cleaning and re-gas. We can also supply and fit you with an air conditioning machine so you can wave goodbye to high bills while your property is being rented. These machines are easy to install and we always have them in stock so can fit your machine without delay.
Our gardening team are well educated with the tropical climate and plants that are to be found here. We can take on regular maintenance of gardens and communal areas and indeed palm maintenance which should be done on a regular basis. We are also able to assist with new garden planting or re-design, laying of patio areas, summer houses and irrigation systems.
Pool maintenance is very important, particular if you are intending to rent your property. Our team will regularly visit and clean the pool both during the winter and summer months, add chemicals and treat as necessary and keep the all important records that are required for rental properties. All property owners here in Spain should make a declaration each year irrespective of it being your sole residence or investment. If you have run into difficulties, we can liaise on your behalf to find a solution and a plan that fits your budget. If you are not able to attend your community meetings we are happy to be there on your behalf and furthermore we will give you a full written transcript of the points raised and items discussed. We can also accompany you to your meetings if you need help with translation on the day.
